Breaking: Divin Mubama Undergoing Medicals, Set to Become Man City’s Second Signing

Football Insider reveals that young talent Divin Mubama is undergoing medical tests ahead of a move to Manchester City.

Mubama was offered a new contract by West Ham but chose not to sign, becoming a free agent. Manchester City has agreed to pay West Ham £1.5 million as compensation for Mubama’s development.

According to Football Insider, Mubama only needs to pass the medical exam to finalize his move to The Citizens.

Sources suggest Mubama is regarded as a top talent for the future, though he may find it difficult to break into the first team immediately, even after Julian Alvarez’s transfer to Atletico Madrid.

Since his debut for West Ham in 2023, Mubama has made 18 appearances for the London club, with only 2 of those as a starter.

So far, Manchester City’s transfer activity has been relatively slow. If successful, Mubama will be their second signing of the summer, following the addition of Savinho, who suffered a knee injury during their 2-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League opener.

Manchester City is also interested in Kyogo Furuhashi of Celtic, although that deal has not progressed yet.
