According to journalist Philipp Hinze, Liverpool is still considering the possibility of signing defender Mohamed Simakan.

With Joel Matip departing Anfield at the end of the last season and captain Virgil Van Dijk showing signs of aging, Liverpool has openly sought to bolster their defense by acquiring at least one high-quality defender.

One of the players Liverpool has long been interested in is Mohamed Simakan, a defender currently at RB Leipzig. However, as of now, the club has remained inactive in the transfer market.

Hinze reports that although Liverpool has shown interest, they have not yet made a concrete move for the French defender. In this scenario, Juventus is ready to step in with the aim of bringing Simakan to Serie A.

RB Leipzig is asking for a transfer fee in the range of 40 to 45 million euros for their key defender. If Liverpool does not act quickly, they risk losing Mohamed Simakan to Juventus.
