Napoli star Victor Osimhen will recover in time to face Barcelona in the Champions League match in midweek.
The Nigerian international did not take any risks in Napoli’s 1-1 draw with Genoa last weekend amid concerns that his fitness had not fully recovered.
Napoli have had the return of Osimhen since participating in the Africa Cup of Nations. The striker has not appeared at club level in 2024.
After being rested against Genoa, Osimhen fully participated in yesterday’s training session and will attend the match against Blaugrana.
According to the latest update from Diario Sport, he will be ready to face Barcelona, but will only be able to play for ’50-60 minutes’ because he has not recovered 100% of his physical strength.
